The Authentic Business
Transformation Program
Goodness - that's quite a name, isn't it?
The thing is, it's as accurate a description as I've found for what
accidental entrepreneurs need to succeed. It covers:
- Working on yourself so that you don't get in your own way. (Hey, it
happens to the best of us.)
- Planning a business that fits "just right," including finding clients
and connecting with them.
- Getting paid. It's not about the money, but if you're going to be in
business, you've gotta have it.
Building a business of your own is like building a house.
The question to ask before you start is: What kind of house
are you wanting to build?
You can get order house plans from a catalog, and some of them are
pretty nice. If you have limited resources, a simple want list, and are
realistic about what you will get for your investment, this is a good
place to start.
But if you've grown out of your starter home or are in a
position to build a custom home, you'll want your own architect.
In that case, it's all about the fit. Poke around here, read some articles.
I'm not interested in trying to sell you. In fact, you need to apply for one
of the 5 available places.
What does it cost?
Foundation Program
- Initial audit of marketing and communications, desired objectives, and
resources
- Twice monthly individual one-hour coaching/consultations
- Once monthly conference calls with other clients in the program
(recorded so you can benefit even if you cannot make the call - but
it's worth turning your schedule upside down to participate)
- Weekly assignments
- Access to client area of Web site with exclusive resources
- Interactive online forum (clients only)
- Detailed critiques of marketing materials (in client form)
- Unlimited support in the client forum
- Unlimited one-on-one email support
Premium Program
Everything in the Foundation Program plus:
Editing for one landing page or brochure
Extended email support (90 days)
If you hired me as a consultant at my hourly rate of $325, you'd spend
$12,500 - $20,000 for these services.
I think that's a lot of money. But I'm not telling you to impress you.
I'm telling you so that you understand what's possible. If this program
is right for you, you'll easily earn many times your investment in
increased earnings.
The investment in the Foundation Program is $4950; the the Premium
Program is $5350. You can pay all at once or in six monthly
installments. If you pay in full at the start of the program you get a
10% discount.
I'm currently accepting applications for opening beginning in January,
2008.
To apply, email
In your email, tell me:
- Why this feels right to you.
- Why now (as opposed to last year or next year, for example).
- What results you expect from the program.
- Any question you'd like me to answer. |
Coming in 2008 - ShaBoomers: The
Authentic Business Transformation Team.
It's still in the design phase, and
I am so excited about it I could pop. ShaBoomers is a 12-month
coaching and mentoring immersion program for growing your just-right business. If you are accepted, you will work your tail off.
You will also make lifelong friends, amaze yourself with your
accomplishments, and - if you do the work - you will have a dream
business.
You can't even sign up yet, but you can
ask questions and I'll let you know when applications are open. And before you
do that, let's talk about what it will cost.
A lot. Or hardly anything. It really
depends on you.
For the first year, the cost is
$3600. That's less than a third of what one-on-one coaching would cost.
And I can already tell you that the cost will go up by at least $1500
in 2009.
Qualifications
Before your application will be
considered, you need to:
Read The Way of the Accidental
Entrepreneur. Study it. You will return to the principles in this
book over and over again - they are the basis for your success.
Be a member of Shaboom County.
Shaboom County is an a members-only intentional community for people
who are growing their businesses using the principles of The Way of
the Accidental Entrepreneur. It is being road-tested during the
summer and fall of 2007, and it will be open to new members in October,
2007.
Sheesh. Does it seem like I'm making it awfully hard for you to get
in?
There's a reason. Only 12 people can become Boomers in
2008. There's no room for anyone who isn't ready for this level of
commitment. That doesn't mean you're wrong if you don't fit the
profile. Not at all. It just means that there is something else -
something I offer or something you'll find elsewhere - that is a better
fit. The last thing I want if for you to feel
"less than." (Will it help if I tell you that I wasn't ready for a
program like this until I'd been in business five years?) |
