Our Authentic Promotion Readers Write...

Dear Molly,
I began subscribing to your newsletter of late, and I have been loving what I get to read!
Though your concepts cater to business development and its prosperous sustentation for entrepreneurs, I almost always derive an analogy to personal growth and development of one's philosophy or one's general 'world-view' from them.
I find an amazing similarity between your concepts and those that I have discovered for myself through rigorous 'advanced self-study' as you call it. Hence, your newsletter makes a very good read. Every article appeals and makes sense to me. Infact, reading your archived newsletter articles helps me pull my socks and revert back to a proper mindset some of the times when I have gotten all fretful and supposedly let down by life.
I take pride in announcing that I am just twenty-three years of age, and having been subjected to the highs and lows of life since a very young age, I have discovered time and again that life is indeed very grand, and just the process of appreciating it in our own typical ways and also finally zeroing down on one holistic philosophy for it, is so splendid.
Having browsed through your website, I should say I really like what you do-doing what you enjoy the most and making money out of it-indeed your 'hedgehog concept'. I write this email to you out of a sense of sheer appreciation and joy and I would find it utterly satisfying, if somewhere down the road, I can be associated with your cause.
best regards,

Yesterday I sent a proposal for consulting (with a coaching tie-in) to a client organization - work that I would love to do for people I love. This morning, I opened a response from the Executive Director who said, "You've captured my hopes perfectly, and I don't quibble with either the time estimate or what you're worth. But I'm worried about affordability. I need to sleep on it." Feeling fretful, I began to open some backlogged e-mail as a distraction. Ha - what did I turn to first but your July 7 New Leaf and the article called "Marketing is an Act of Love."
"Every response... helps mirror, refine, and focus your offer. As long as you are willing to... discern the truth of your own experience and that of your prospects, every marketing act can bring you more into alignment with your best offer and open a path for you to serve and thrive..."
I sent back a note to my cllient to let her know that I too valued her and the work that both she and her organization carry on. Short story - I have the business, they have an affordable approach. And we both get to serve and thrive. Thanks, Molly.

I love this subject as I just started to write a speech about marketing from the heart that I'm giving to a women in business group in September.
Im exploring ways we can bring more love into our businesses.
Some thoughts:
By acting as a steward as Molly promotes so often. Detaching from your business and by letting it go you can serve it with more love than defensive emotion like hurt and anger and resentment.
By setting boundaries that reduce the stress on your heart less anxiety, less sweat.
By letting your business float, armed with a good compass and map allowing yourself to get lost but not taking your eyes off your destination your higher intention.
Take your business for a cruise soon on the Love Boat

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for a tremendous gift over the weekend. I've been enjoying your weekly ezines and explored your site a bit, but never really had a chance to seriously peruse your resources.
I found myself away from home on Sunday, with plenty of quiet free time and no interruptions. Before I left, I printed your free Authentic Promotion ebook and put it in the suitcase. I've done ALOT of work on self discovery, marketing / branding, and building my self care workshop and coaching business. However, because my business is just starting out, I haven't been able to afford many of the wonderful, inspiring programs I know are available. Your ebook was a real gift to me on Sunday. The combination of the stillness, my focus, and your words made for a magnificent, empowering experience. Thank you!

You don't know me; I am a good friend of D. Sunderland's, and she turned me on to your newsletter last year. I have had many insights and learned so much from your coaching.
I especially appreciate that you have made so much of what you do available for free online. It has given me a lot to work with this year. I have actually been able to make the break into self-employment and away from my job.
So thanks! Yes, this is my thank-you note for this moment...!

Dear Molly,
I wanted to say thank you for your newsletter last week.
Your list of 10 lessons within the Confessions of a reluctant marketer really inspired me (so much so that I've put the lessons into an attractive format and put them on the wall in front of my desk).
I'm a novice coach in Sydney, Australia, and although my clients tell me often how inspired, encouraged and energised they feel after our sessions, I find fear stopping me so often.
I will read your lessons each time I notice fear stopping me from making a call or writing a letter or email and I just know that I will then have the courage to step over the fear much more often.
Thank you for your really generous sharing of those lessons.

Dear Molly:
Thanks for the tips on forgiveness. Now I have words to explain my approach to negative feelings, which I have been unable to convey to near and dear ones. I have told them to let go of grudges because while you are having the grudge, the guy you have a grudge against is having a great time!
Sincerely,
Aamer
Dear Molly:
I am a faithful subscriber to your e-newsletter and always enjoy it. But today, as I was sorting through various computer files, I re-found your great Fear Book. I am in the process of finishing a book proposal and outline and sending them to two agents who have requested it, and it is freaking me out. (I have alwas been aces at the behind the scenes shadow artist writer gig--claiming my self is new to me.) It is Big Stuff. The Fear Book reminded me of our friend Homeostasis, and how it's not only natural...it's right on time to feel freaked out.
And then, of course, to get back on the horse.
Thanks again. And I love your wearable art, too!
Best,

After your spam story I thought you needed to know that your explanation of why we need to forgive is the best non-religious one I ever heard. I know I will use the technique. The are lots of things you have said through the years that were unique or said in a unique way but I never wrote before because I figured you had had too many emails to read. Take care and I'm glad you are doing this.
